Chorus Of Love
© 2015 Acrylic on canvas | 47.2″ x 35.4″ | 120 cm x 90 cm
This painting began without a name in late 2015. Many times, the flow of energy and inspiration I receive results in visualizations of candles, and that’s what I painted along the bottom of the canvas.
Then the terrorist attacks in Paris took place, and I was thinking of calling it ‘Paris’, as a tribute to the people there.
But more and more people were telling me the candles looked like people in a choir, so ‘Chorus of Love’ sounded appropriate as the different ‘colours’ of their voices rose and wove together in sending love and support to the victims, families and people of Paris.
